Let's start at the beginning - at least the beginning of my life here in Austin. I moved with Mister Tabasco, my cat/fur child, almost two years ago from Houston. We moved in with my love and three of his children. His fourth child is in college. So far it's been an incredible whirlwind with loads of learning and new experiences. Within the last few months, even more changes took place. My beloved Mister was stricken with bone marrow cancer and died within a few weeks. That was heartbreaking. But I know that his soul is with me (and his beautiful face is on my home page!). I finished up my term at the Bullock Texas State History Museum - a wonderful museum - and continued to work on my new business. With the launch of my website, I hit the ground running!
In addition to all of this, we adopted a cute, affectionate 5 year old (approx) dachshund mix named Eddie about one month ago. You can see his picture in the Portraits page! The kids wanted a cat or dog and although it was sooner than desired, we could not refuse taking Eddie, especially as he was in the shelter system for over two years. As expected, he has some issues, and so we are working with him, and taking him to obedience school. It's taking a bit of effort, but it is/will be worth it. Let's call this the Eddie project. More on this delightful saga later!
